Continuing Education

On July 19, 2008, Dr. Hudimac received his Fellowship Award from the Academy of General Dentistry.  This award symbolizes a dentist’s continual effort toward improvement,  progress, and a commitment to a lifelong journey.  Dr. Hudimac has already fulfilled over two thirds of the continuing education requirements towards his Mastership, the AGD organization’s highest award.

On May 8, 2009, Dr. Hudimac received his Fellowship in the International Congress of Implantologists, the oldest dental implant organization in the world. It signifies through knowledge and experience in the use of dental implants and patient care.

These accomplishments are neither mandated nor required, but are self-directed achievements in pursuit of excellence. 

The Academy of General Dentistry is an organization of general dentists dedicated to continuing education and reliable consumer information, and within the PA AGD organization, Dr. Hudimac belongs to the PEAK organization of Pennsylvania dentists dedicated to continuing education and skills improvement.

Dr. Hudimac’s entire staff benefits from ongoing training programs, and these involve more than issues of technical dentistry.  Education includes customer service, scheduling, insurance issues, and all of the organizational tasks that contribute to making your visit pleasant, efficient, affordable, and the right solution to your dental care needs.

Latrobe Dentist Scott A, Hudimac, DDS serves patients throughout central and eastern Westmoreland County, PA, including the communities of Latrobe, Derry, Ligonier, Bradenville, Blairsville, Greensburg, South Greensburg, Loyalhanna, New Alexandria, Norvelt, Pleasant Unity, Youngstown, and many others.  His office is located just one mile off Route 30 along Route 981.  New patients and dental emergencies are welcome at this gentle family dental office.
